Tymon is an emerging composer from Poland. He has recently graduated the Royal College of Music guided principally by Jonathan Cole. He has been elected as Students' Union President at RCM for academic years 22/23 and 23/24. Before RCM, he studied Dalcroze Eurhythmics in the F. Chopin State Music School in Warsaw and physics and maths in one of the best state high schools in Poland. His music has been performed across London, including the Royal Academy of Art, Andrzej Panufnik's house, in other locations such as the Orkney Islands, Czech Republic and back home in Poland. Recent works include Flights, a fully staged chamber opera based on text by Nobel Prize-winning author Olga Tokarczuk, a cycle of Inflorescences for various string ensembles and Abattoir Noir for electronics which was performed during Ostrava Days 2023 festival. Moreover, his Curiosity and the Cat has won the Clarinet and Saxophone Society UK Composition Competition and was a piece required on their young clarinettists' competition. Tymon recently premiered a sound installation at Kew Gardens London for their Sounds of Blossom festival and currently he is working on a saxophone quartet and a piece for solo clarinet with live electronics.
