Tryst comes

to Glasgow

Thursday 20 February 2025, 7.30pm
Glasgow City Halls, 100 Candleriggs, Glasgow G1 1NQ

With the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the Tryst’s artistic director James MacMillan presents works by younger composers, mostly from Ayrshire, who have been mentored and commissioned by The Tryst. A bold statement of musical Ayrshire where there is definitely something in the water creating all these composers! The event also presents the Scottish premiere of MacMillan’s new Concerto for Orchestra.
